Speed up your Slow PC

Your computer becomes slow due to several reasons. I have tried to list here generalized solutions, that you can try to improve the speed of your PC.


Try running scandisk on all your partitions.
( Start => Programs => Accessories => System Tools => Scandisk )

Run your antivirus with its latest virus definitions. A virus may be the cause of pc slow down..
( You can use a good free anti virus like AVG free edition.)

Run your anti spy ware software to find and eliminate any Spy wares installed on your computer. (In most cases this is the real problem)

Defrag your system using Windows defrag utility.
( Start => Programs => Accessories => System Tools => Disk Defragmenter )

Un-install all unwanted software's and games.
( Start => Settings => Control Panel => Add Remove Programs ).

Try disabling unwanted Auto run software's.

If your system has less RAM (Primary Memory), Better add more RAM.

Delete all unwanted files ( You can use System Mechanic for this ).

Turn off your PC. Open your system cabinet and check for cable loose connection. Some times loose cable connections also cause system slow problem.

Download and update your hardware drivers.

How to solve GetModule32.exe Error ?

Getmodule32.exe have been discovered to cause many annoying problems on Windows XP based systems. Various users have reported the problem of annoying popups in Internet Explorer. Moreover, the problem of IE showing the same page twice on same window has also been reported. Not much is available on the web either.

Removal and Protection:
Deleting the file getmodule32.exe will not help in removing the threat on computer. Antivirus and Anti-Spyware Software are recommended for automatic removal and protection

Widget to Put Comment Box Under Posting

Sometimes ago I have posted an articel about "How to Create Commnet Box Under Posting" it use haloscan comment box. It working well for some bloger and bad for some bloger too. If you failed or dislike using haloscan comment box, may be this will be alternatifvfor you. This comment box is created by intensedebate.com, this comment box can be use as a widget, and to apply this widget is very simple, and to remove this is more simple it just like when you remove Page Element from your blog. Ok, if you interest to try this widget I’ll show you how to put it.

1. Login to Blogger.com the chose "Layout --> Edit HTML", click on the link "Download Full Template" to backup your template first

2. Then go to intensedebate.com site sgn up, the login and go to "dashboard"

3. On the up right you will see "add blog" button, click the button

4. Then you will see a box to insert your blog url, fill it then press the button .

5. Then you will see a page like this:

6. For easy, chose"Widget (Recomended)".

7. There are some choice on the "Replace Comment System". Chose "On post without comments" if you want the comment box show under no comment articel (your previouse comment still exist). If you want the comment box exist on every posting chose "On all blog post" (You will lose your previouse comments, but it can be restored).

8. The click "Complete Installation" button.

9. You will see the page like this :

10. Chose your blog then click "ADD WIDGET" button.

Show Related Article to Your Post in blogger

The advantage of showing related article to your post is it will help your readers find more information related to the topics. This is base on label or category. This is usually put to the end of the article. After your visitors finish read your article, they will find some links that related to the post base on label or category.
Here's the tutorial to create "related article to your spot":

1. Login to Blogger
2. Go to "Layout-->Edit HTML"
3. Click on "Expand Widgets Template" checkbox.
4. Then download THIS SCRIPT or HERE.
5. Open it then copy the scripts.
6. Paste the script after this code : . If you have "Read more widget" you will find two codes. Put it under the first code.
7. Save your template.

1. Click on the thumbnail of the photograph you want to download. Once you get the enlarged version of the photograph, click on it and drag to the address bar i.e. keep pressing left-click and move the arrow to the address bar( where you type www.orkut.com ).
2. On releasing left-click, the address bar should now have link for image.Now browser window consist of image only. Save it as you normally do.

Orkut still vulnerable to the scrapbook XSS bug

Orkut.com the social networking site from Google is still very much exposed to the XSS bug. Although on orkut's official blog the orkut team states that they have fixed the bug and the new features of the orkut scrapbook cannot be exploited anymore, but the problem still seems to be at large. As per the orkut team "..We believe that this action has been effectively stopped" but here below I am sharing a small script that does the trick on your orkut scrapbook.

If someone copies the below script and sends you a scrap in your scrapbook, you automatically are logged out of orkut. And even if you try login again and go to your scrapbook, you are logged out again. I would suggest not trying this with your friends, because if you do so.. they might not know how to delete your scrap and could never come out of this problem.

Also there is a method of avoiding these kinds of XSS bug in your scrapbook and also there is a method by which one can delete these kind of scraps (Will write about it latter some time).
